MAPPING SOIL AND LAND COVER AS AN EFFECTIVE MECHANISM

FOR THE FORMATION OF LAND PLOTS BOUNDARIES OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS

Analysis of the modern version of the land legislaƟon of Russia shows the existence of contradicƟons and discrepancies that hinder the pracƟcal implementaƟon of

effecƟve land management. On the other hand, the prospects of using the results of large-scale soil cartography for improving land assessment and cadastre are being

opened. The considered examples show that the boundaries of soil differences are used, can be used and should be used when forming the boundaries of land plots

on cadastral maps. The full realizaƟon of the potenƟal of land legislaƟon and soil cartography can be disclosed on the basis of retrospecƟve monitoring of soil and

land cover technology.
