MODERN METHODS OF ANALYSIS OF SILAGE MICROORGANISM:

NEW RESULTS

G. Yu. Laptev, E. A. Yildirim, L. A. Ilina

Has been applied an integrated approach for studying the composition o f microorganisms

o f plants and silage by using a modern molecular genetic methods T-RFLP, NGS-

sequencing and real-time PCR. Has been applied an the composition o f microorganisms

o f 67 samples o f cereal, bean and mixed crops forage crops at different stages o f cultiva

tion and in mature silage in five districts o f the Leningradskaya oblast. It was investigated

the content of the microorganisms at different maturation stages o f ensiling (58 samples)

with biological sourdough based bacilli and lactobacilli, and chemical preservatives. The

composition o f microorganisms o f mowed plant mass was differed sharply from the com

position o f the microorganisms o f plant grass and significantly changed during the ensil

ing by the influencing o f various factors. We found in the silage the bacteria that tradi

tionally considered typical inhabitants of the gastrointestinal tract o f mammals. That was

not allowed by the using o f classical microbiological methods. Introduction o f the strains

L. plantarum and B. subtilis in silage leads to reduction of unwanted microorganisms and

pathogens. The molds occurs on plants already at the growth stage. The quantity o f the

molds an increase in the mature silage. We found mycotoxins in all analyzed samples of

grass already at the early stages o f plant growth and silage. In the silage one mycotoxins

was increased, while other mycotoxins was decreased as a result o f activity of microor

ganisms

biological destructors.
