The flora o f Kazakstan is very diversified, there are more than 6 000

kinds o f herbs growing, a great number o f which is medicine-valuable. The

majority o f them is endemic. The environment exasperation, non-rational

natural resource utilization and people's technogenic influence lead to a

negative affect to the genofund conservation of medicinal plants.

The utilization of

in-vitro

plant cell culture is one o f the prior ways to

save the plant genofund.

The drugs o f

Rhodiola rosea L .

is w idely used in medical practice but

the reduction o f natural sources and slow growth lim its its utilization. Due to

this fact the

in-vitro

cultivation problem is a big concern.

The materials fo rthe given research were roots and stems fo r an herbal

plant -

Rhodiola rosea L .

The explants were cultivated on the breeding ground

o f Mourasing Scooga (2 mg / l-D; 2,5 mg/l Fe - chelata; 6% intensive

callousogenesis and 2nd differentiation zone founding). Sprouts were formed

on the base of cultivation at light and then replantation on the soil.

The callous tissues were used with the aim to receive biologically active

substances and study their biological activity.

In this case as a result o f conducted research the possibility o f in-vitro

cultivation and reproduction fo r

Rhodiola rosea L.

was perceived.
