Fritillaria meleagris L.

is needed o f protection as rare species fo r Siberia

region. Vegetative and seed propagation o f it are very dificu lty in nature

coditions. The purpose o f ou r work was studied conditions to regeneration,

m icropropagation and long-term storage o f Fritillaria meleagris L.

in vitro.

Segments o f bulb scales were introduction

in vitro

culture. Regeneration o f

m icrobulbs on the surface of scales were induced on Gamborg B5 medium

added w ith various concentrations o f 6-benzylam inopurine (BA) (5-20 µМ ).

During one passage (25-30 days) 15-20 adventive microbulbs were induced

on medium fo r propagation with 5 µМ BA plus 5 µМ NAA ( l-naphthaleneacetic

acid) per one explant. Exclusion cytokinin from medium was stimulated

rooting o f m icrobulbs. Special environmental and nutritional factors (+4°C,

24 hours o f dark and sucrose reduced u p to l%) was reguired fo r prolongation

o f subculture period up to 12-18 months. Coefficient ofpropagation was not

changed. This approach may be use fo r creation o f

Fritillaria meleagris

collection

in vitro.
