Ficin is w idely used in food industry. The natural producer o f ficin-

generation Ficus - is represented by hundreds species with high proteolytic

activity o f their latex. The protease has the same classification as the papain,

Black Sea Coast o f Caucasus we have selected terms of tissue of this

species different cultivare introduction as well as fo r plants regeneration

from stem tips. The material was selected at Adler subtropical species

research farm, where a number of prospective cultivars o f this kind are grown.

Fig parts were used as explants. Sterile cultures were received. They

regenerate flowers structures and callus. D ifferent combination o f growth-

regulators were tested in this work. The combination Indole acetic acid (IAA)

and indole pyruvic acid (IPA) shows the best surviving. Usage o f activated

carbon resulted in callus growth in weight during 28 days.

from stem tips was done. Stem tips o f 0,4-0,6 mm long were planted and

two months later morfogenic cultures of different dimension including 1-3

mm long were grown. These plantlets moved to a new nutrient media grew

into plants 3-5 sm long with 3-5 internodes and well developed root system.

These sterile plant were free of virus symptoms, and were used fo r mass

propagation o f this valuable fruit culture and callus production. O f IAA and

IPA combination by 0.3 mg/l each introduction into nutrient media gave good

results.
