The constant interest in plant peroxidases and esterases has been

recently caused by their involvement in signal transduction events and creation

of resistance to pathogene intrusion. There are weighty proofs, that the

numerous forms of peroxidases and esterases belong to the PR-proteins

group. Being involved in oxidative stress under infection and at the deciding

degree determining a speed of development o f hypersensitive response and

systemic acquired resistance, these ferments can be considered as potential

molecular markers of creation of plant immune reactions. In the previous

researches with N.tabaccum, cv Samsun NN we demonstrated the antiviral

activities of arachidonic acids, symbiont, alfa-tocopherol, synthetic coferment

Q10 and biochem ical changes caused by them.

The aim of this work was to make the comparative analysis of peroxidase

and esterase spectra of a potato cultivating

in vitro

in reply to the action of

natural immunoprotectors and pathogenes: TMV, potato viruses X-, M- and

Y-.

Isoelectrofocusing of investigated proteins has allowed us to reveal some

changes in molecular spectra depending on age of in test-tube grown potato,

cv Nevski, but not in connection with elisitors or phytoviruses effect. The

polymorphic peroxidase and esterase spectra were obtained by Davis

electrophoresis. It was shown, that peroxidase really was a marker of

ontogenetic processes and reactions induced by immunoprotectors and

viruses in test-tube grown potato plants. The insignificant polymorfism of

esterase isoforms lim its the using of this ferment as a resistance marker in

system potato plant
