Under normal conditions (26°C) the depedence on the level and character

of ethylene syntesis determined by genetical determinated level of tolerance

in cultural strains from unripe embroyenes o f wheat was not established.

Under the temperature of 32°C fo r 2 hours followed by transfer to normal

conditions, the cellular strains of all genotypes, almost on the first hour of

changing of condition about 50% decreasing of the level o f ethylene synthesis

took place. The latter circumstances was differed on the level of changing fo r

different types. The increasing of ethylene synthesis ( maximum after 3-h o f

regeneration of control conditions) was odserved after2 hours. The magnitude

ofthese maximums did not depend on the level of tolerance and corresponded

to intensity differences of ethylene extraction by genotypes in the absence

o f stresses. In the following the decreasing of ethylene extraction was found

in all genotypes. Note that in non-tolerant species o f Diamant and mid-

tolerant Kazakhstanskaya-126, the decay take place until 7 hours while in

the case o f species with more level o f tolerance-Skala, Garakylchig-2,

Eritrospermum 841 at the begining o f 5-hours, the 2-nd peak o f ethylene

formation which is reached to maximum on 6-hours o f incubation was

found. This ethylene peak was specific to tolerant types and determined by

us as specific reaction to short-temperature effect.Growing cellular strains

at high temperature (32°C) for 1 month also result to the appearance of the

2nd peak o f ethylene formation in tolerant types.Cultivation under a high

temperature for3 months lead to equlibration in the level of ethylene production

in all genotypes. The formation o f the 1-st peak of ethylene is time constant

although the character of its dynamics is changeable. The 2nd peak ethylene

belonging to the tolerant types was also observed in adapted cellular strains

with a low level o f tolerancy-Diamant and Kazakhstanskaya-126.
