molgen@chembio.bashkiria.suBeing the participants of sygnal transduction processes, phytohormones
draw into a plant immunity response. Virus infection and immunostimulating
effect o f inductors o f system ic acquired resistance cause a phytohormone
com position changes in qua lity and quantity. These changes often
accompany a progress o f visible symptoms of diseases, hypersensitive
response and systemic acquired resistance. For example, active expression
o f PR-protein genes and their synthesis
de novo
can be regulated by
hormons. Thus, inhibition of virus reproduction in plants is mediated by
hormone effects. However, items of information on alteration o f hormone
balance in reply to virus infection and prelim inary elicitor effect are often
contradictory.
The objective o f the research was investigation o f dynam ics o f
phytohormone accumulation: abscisic acid (ABA), auxin (AX) and zeatin-
like cytokinin (ZCN) in test-tube grown potato, cv Nevski underthe impact of
b io chem ica l a c tive agents (BAA) w ith imm unop ro tecto r properties:
arachidonic acids, symbiont, alfa-tocopherol, synthetic coferm e n t Q10 and
phytoviruses: TMV and potato virus X.
It was revealed, that immune inducing effect of BAA was characterized
by quantitative alteration of phytohormone spectrum. The ABA and ZCN
compositions had the tendency to increase at virus infection and reached
maximum values as a rule only after a week infection period. In a control
(without immunization) infected plants demonstrated 1 .5 -3 times increases
o f ABA composition and essential lowering AX composition. It should be
noted that obviously expressed delay effect of this tendency in immune
plants was observed only in a week. It was demonstrated that BAA protection
effect in potato
in vitro
under virus infection has delayed character and
accompanied the alteration in phytohormone system.
