A problem o f genofond preservation may be decided by application of
biotechnology approaches. Elaboration o f micropropagation methods of rare
and disappear plants allow realizing their potential to propagation in short
time.
Brachanthemum baranovii
(
Krasch. e t Poljak.)
(
Asteraceae) -
is
endem ic and dangerous species o fAltay wild flora. Seeds o f brachantemum
was germinated in aceptic conditions. Some basal mediums were studied.
The best results were demonstrated on Gamborg Bs basal medium, added
with cytokinins. Numerous facts of our experiment prove that the induction
ofadventive shooting is achieved by 0,2 - 0,5 pM 6-benzylaminopurine or5 -
10 mM kinetin : approximally 30-40 shoots per one explant was obtained.
Cytokinins applied to basal medium in rather high concentrations had
vitrification effect. Rooting of shoots was induced by 3-5 pM indole-3-butyric
acid. A fter 4 weeks regenerated plantlets o fbrachanthemum had such sizes
: height o f the shoots - 3-4 cm and lenght of the roots - 4-5 cm.
