It is well known the best way of grapevine propagation is the vegetative
one. The usage o f this grapevine peculiarity
in vitro
results in the great increase
of the propagation efficiency and the simultaneous reduction of planted area.
The most drastic step in aseptic grape plantlets transfering
in vivo
is their
rooting. This facto rg reatly depends upon the quality of planting substrate.
D ifferent grapevine cultivars were investigated in zeolite substrates of the
Tedzaminsky deposit. Nice zeolite properties are favoured to the gases
interchange and stimulate the vigorous growth of roots and over-ground parts.
Aseptic plantlets were taken out o f the tubers and planted in to the
polyethylene vessels-parcels full of the zeolite substrate. The zeolite fractions
from 1mm to 10mm were used in our experiments. It was found out the most
suitable fo r grape plantlets rooting was zeolite fraction 1-3mm. This substrate
was characterized by the best taking root capacity. Thus, the most suitable
substrate fo r grapevine plantlets
in vivo
adaptation was zeolite fraction 1-
3mm.
