The ability of pollen callus for plant regeneration and its dependence on
culturation duration on auxim contained medium was investigated.The
increase of callus cultivation duration was accompanied by decrease o f callus
ability to produce especially green shoots.
It was obviosly that the most duration had the rootgenesis ability.

The spontaneous obtaining o f diploid plants from haploid microspores
o f first generation hybrids in anter culture is more available than doubling o f
haploids by co lch icine becourse o f its toxicity.Polyploids,especially
tetraploids are very important for practical breeding.
W e obtained tetraploids from anther callus o f two rice hybrids,but it
was impossible to obtain the poliploids from them by colchicine.Thus,as it
was shown the method o f culture
In vitro
could be used successfully to
obtain poliploids, where the colchicine method is low effective.
