Comparative assessment of potato species in the Vologda

Abstract:
The comparative assessment of various potato species efficiency in the
Vologda region conditions showed that the Inspiration specie provides the productivity
at the level of 43,2 t/hectare. The greatest starch content is accumulated by tubers of
“Nikulinsky” specie – 16,3%. By the general assessment of specie the best on economic
and valuable signs grades are Lugovskoy, Elizabeth and Inspiration.
