Apothecia up to 6 cm in diameter, superficial, single or clustered, cup-shaped, on a
short stout stalk (2

1 cm) with fawn hymenium and fawn-brown outer surface and cre-
nate margin, externally downy, covered by short hyaline hairs. Asci 230-310

cylindrical, apex not blued by iodine, 8-spored. Ascospores 20-22.5 x 12,5-13 (-14) pm,
elliptical, unicellular, with two large oil drops, uniseriate in the ascus, hyaline. Para-
phvses cylindrical, apex widened up to 3-5 pm, septate, equal or little longer than asci.
