CYTOGENETICAL FEATURES OF REGENERATION PROGENY OF

EXPERIMENTAL PLANTS WITH DIFFERENT GENOME SETS

Comparative study of chromosome numbers variability in regeneration progeni

obtained by means of micropropogation in vitro of experimental plants synthesized with

employment of

H.procerum

was carried out. Plants-donors for micropropogation was

cytogenetical stability forms (haploid

H.procerum(

n=3x=21) barley-wheat hybrids of

H.procerum

with

T.aestivum

(n=6x

=

42) and parent sample of

H.procerum

(2n =6x=42))

and

cytogenetical instability reciprocal euploid and aneuploid hybrids

H.vulgare

with

H.procerum(

n=4x=28, n=4x-l=27) with high degree of chromosome numbers variability

in sporogenic tissue ( under 80%of hypo-, hyper- and polyploid microsporocytes in single

plants) (Pendinen, Chernov, 1997). Immature inflorescens was cultivated in N6 medium

with 2 mg/12,4-D during 4 weeks for calluses growth. N6 medium without hormons was

used for regeneration. Plant with chromosome numbers wich was different than plants-

donors of explants (27%) andmixoploid regenerants (48%) was identificated in all familis

of regenerant of hybrids

H.vulgare

with

H.procerum

. Only 25% of regenerants of this

group had chromosome number of plants-donors of explants. All regenerants of

H.procerum,

haploid of

H.procerum

and

H.procerum x T.aestivum

hybrid had identical to

plants-donors of explants chromosome sets. It is possible that cytogenetical stability of

plants ih vitro culture plants-donors of cxplants

is

connecting with degree of cytogenetical

stability plants-donors of explants. Variability of chromosome sets in regeneration progeny

of

H.vullgare x H.procerum

hybrids is resultt of cytogenetical instability caused of

genomes intcractionn in hybrid genome. In vitro culture condition intensify of this

instability.
