THE CHLOROPHYLL FLUORESCENCEASTHE SELECTIONMETHODOF
THEACID SOIL RESISTANTRED CLOVERFORMS

Researches were conducted on the clover plants reseived as the result
of the selection on the selective nutrient medium with 200 mg/l Al. Both
plant grew
in vitro
and in artificial climate on the soil were used.
It was shown, that variation interval of chlorophyll slowdown fluorescence
amplitude (SFC) in populace of 36 plants < was - 30-45%, and the speed of.
luminescence incidence was 10-18%.
In result of selection o f plants having the positive standard deviations
the clover individuals with high SFC index were discovered even after the
leaves were cultured in AICI3model solution during 1-3 days.
On the base of SFC index the clover clone was selected which showed
the high resistance to toxic factors of acid soil. This fact was confirmed with
the dates of biological productivity and free proline content in roots.
