Investigation o f possibility of estimation o f spruce to gas tolerance

in

vitro

culture was carried out for using Picea abies in town - planting o f North-

West populated localitis o f Russia and it's ear pollution. Spruce Picea abies

is cross polination species and it may gives genetical heterogeneous seeds

generation. This heterogenous (including gas tolerance index) may be observe

in early seedling growth. Growth chatacteristics of spruce callus tissue after

influence lethal and sublethal concentrations o f S 0 2 was observed fo r

investigation o f possibility estimation to gas tolerance in early stage o f

development. Spruce matture embryos was used to explantation on LP-

medium for obtaining calluses and seedlings. In first variant sulphurdioxide

fum igation in gas concentrations 0,35 and 0,75 g/m3 was used in 4 days

after embryos explantations, in second variant o f fumigation was used after

development intensive growth calluses (two month after explantation). Highest

tolerance

in vitro

to S 0 2 influense was oserved in calluses tissue. More

damage was observed in calluses wich cultivated in light condition then in

calluses wich cultivated in dark. Damage influence o f S 0 2was observed as

depress growth temps and development of intensive necrosis. Heterogenous

of growth indexis increase of intensive necrosis development with time later

after fumigation was obterned.
