A. F. Meysner (1980) showed the efficacy of making and using naturally cryopreserved green crops of late spring

and summer seeding. Conclusive zootechnic trials were also conducted by Krasnoyarsk Animal Husbandry Experi-

mental StaƟon, feeding such frosted plants to dairy cows and sheep in the Republic of Khakassia. Agricultural tech-

niques for the crops grown for cryopreserved forages in YakuƟa were studied by V. A. Rumyantsev (1992). CulƟvat-

ing and using sown forage areas for horse winter grazing annual involves annual grasses that accumulate sufficient

energy and nutrients during a very short vegetaƟon period, to be naturally cryopreserved. It improves the horse

forage basis during the winter period due to the high nutriƟve value and absorbency of the fodders. Green plants

contain all the necessary substances and elements for normal vital funcƟons and maximal producƟvity of the an-

imals. Green fodders have a unique balance of many nutriƟve and biologically acƟve substances; they are well

consumed by the animals, easily digested and absorbed by the organism addiƟonally enhancing the metabolism.
