In 1993-1994 during the winter,spring,summer and autumn

sea son s in Germany and in Russia the samples o f flo v e r s , o f o f

p o d s,o f seed s, some green and lign eou s sp rou ts and r o o ts were

c o lle c te d . On the whole about 100 samples were gathered fo r the

a n a ly sis. The a n a ly sis was carried out by the Departament o f

Pharmacautical B iology a t Wurzburg U n iv ersity , with the help

Pharmaceutical B iology a t Wiirzburg U n iv ersity , w ith the help o f

gaschromotography massspectrometer a n a ly sis. Nowadays we have

ra th er d e ta ile d information aboutr the samples c o lle c te d . But i t

i s not complete yet.

Our fu ture in v e stig a tio n w ill show the way the e c o lo g ic a l

co n d itio n s in flu en ce the a lk a lo id con ten t o f C ytisus scoparius

during the growth and phenological sta g e s o f p lan t development.

U n till now biochem ical researches o f t h is type were not regarded

a s d eserving d e ta ile d description.Our in v e stig a tio n w ill make

th in g s c le a r on the problem, whether i t i s p o ssib le or not to

use hidden ( in our ca se- chemical) characters o f C ytisus

scop a riu s

fo r

sis tem a tic

c la s s if ic a t io n . At presen t these

c l a s s if ic a t io n s are ca rried out mainly on the b a sis o f the

morphological data o f the s p e c ie s in question.
