E-Mail:vladimir@ad.plantphys.msk.ruTo automatize the bioreactor regime of potato stolontuberization we
investigated the influence o f different sugars combinations ( such as:
sucrose, glucose and fructose) on this process. Aseptic stolons of potato
cultivar Lugovskoy were cultured in MS medium supplemented by 2% or 8%
sugars. Stolons and tubers were induced by 8% sugars supplying. 18 sugar
combinations had been analyzed. According to our results the highest
branching effect was indicated when stolons growing in medium with 2%
glucose or fructose content were induced by 8% fructose or glucose. The
earlest tuberization was noticed when 8% glucose was used as inductor.
The most effective m icrotuber producing per initial explant was found out in
stolons culturing in medium containing 2% glucose or fructose after induction
w ith 8% glucose. The best yields o f >5mm m icrotubers were produced in
stolons culturing in 8% sucrose or 2% fructose media after induction with
8% glucose or
fructose. So,changing sugar forms and their concentrations,
It is quaite possible to adopt potato stolon tuberization to the bioreactor.
