IN VITRO

OF SOME CACTUSES

State Nikita Botanical Garden UAAS, Ukraine, Yalta

The representatives o f fam .Cacfaceae, the spesies

Ariocarpus,

Astrophytum, Espostoa, Hamatocactus

etc. are characterized by a long,

asynchronous period o f seed germination (about one year and more) and

slow growth o f seedlings -1 - 1 ,5sm fo r one year.

Are devising and improving the receptions of cultivation cactuses of

these spesies

in connection with genofond protection, maintenance

o f genetic cleanliness o f species, opportunity o f induction callus and

regenerant formation, propagation of plants.

In culture

Hamatocactus setispinus on various nutritious mediums are brought up viable

seedlings. From mature

seeds on MS medium (1962)

within one year the plants o f height 0,6 - 0,7sm, and root 1 - 1 ,5sm in length

were developed. With cultivating seeds

Astrophytum capricorne

in conditions

of same medium, completed 6-BAP and 2,4-D simultaneously was observed

as development o f seedlings and proliferation. Received callus differed on

morphology and colouring: light with the transparent not painted cells, yellow

and pink cells. Is allocated morphogenous callus, with flat dense mat-white

surface, with differentiated морфогенными by structures.
