INVESTMENT PROVISION

OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF LIVESTOCK

(ON THE EXAMPLE OF YAROSLAVL REGION)

The stabilization and development of a sustainable economy, as well as the provision

of food to the population in the amount of normative consumption can be achieved only on

the basis of the transfer of the agro-industrial complex of the country and its regions in

General and the livestock sub-sector in particular, to an innovative way of development,

the implementation of science-intensive projects focused on the production of competitive

products. The results of the analysis of innovation and investment state of livestock in the

Yaroslavl region, allowed to identify promising areas of development of the industry and

the existing problems in it. The implementation of major investment projects in agricultur-

al enterprises of the region, has significantly updated the material and technical base of

livestock facilities, to modernize production technology, mechanize labor processes and

reduce labor intensity. Despite this, the problems of financial stability and investment ac-

tivity in the farms of the region objectively hinder the further development of the industry.
