Process and function regulation in plants is an important direction in

plant physiology as through knowing the regulation mechanisms we are

able to understand the organization and functionality of vegetal genome

and the exogene regulation of growth and development of plants in

accordance to the impact of chemical factors. Twenty two substances of

different chemical nature (organic acids, salts of organic and inorganic

acids, peroxides) were tested -with the purpose of classifying them

according to their capacity to regulate seed sprouting and establishing

peculiarities of their action in dependence of variety, concentration and

time of treatment. As a result of comparative study of enzymatic

degradation storage of proteins and starch in embryo and cotyledons

content of phytohormones and efficiency of respiration, the main dominant

metabolic processes, which determine organism response to exogenous

chemical influence, were established. It was revealed that stimulation of

seed sprouting is determined by acceleration of hypocotyl cell growth as a

result of active mobilization of carbohydrates at the end of lag-phase and

initial growth phases as well as by the increase in the rate of enzyme

degradation of storage proteins and starch in cotyledons during

heterotrophic nutrition. Seed sprouting inhibition is a result of considerable

retention of proteolytic degradation processes in embryo in the first two

phases, increasing the transition stage from lag-phase to growth-phase.

Изучали взаимодействие гормональной и трофической регуля-

ции физиологических процессов в растении картофеля. Показана сти-

муляция дыхания в первые 72 часа прорастания глазков клубней под

влиянием ИУК, БАП, цинка и бора. Наибольший эффект оказал ауксин

и 2п. Добавление как БАП, так и ИУК к бору не оказало заметного

влияния на дыхание. Напротив, при совместной обработке клубней Zn
