Staphylococcal dermatitis may take localized and generalized forms. Spe- cial attention should be paid to the generalized form that is transitional to the septic one. Analysis of pathogenetic features of different disease forms in dogs is an important area of research. A reliable ESR increase, erythro- cytopenia and reactive neutrophilic leukocytosis that is indicative of the infection onset in the organism and may serve as a marker of pathological process severity are found in staphylococcus-infected dogs. The increase in loading erythrocytic coefficients is demonstrated in staphylococcus- infected dogs as compared to that ones in the control group (depending to the disease severity). Leukocytal intoxication index is 3.54 and 3.05 times higher in dogs with localized form and generalized form of staphylococ- cus infection, respectively, as compared to that one of clinically healthy animals. This may be an indicator of intoxication aggravation due involve- ment of staphylococci producing some exotoxins in the pathogenesis. Key words : staphylococcus infection, dogs, morphology indicators, hemogram. Электронная Научная СельскоХозяйственная Библиотека
