Optimal antibiotic concentrations were determined for ampicillin (1,500 μg/ml or 2,400 U/ml), ciprofloxacin (17 μg/ml), cefotaxime (60 μg/ml or 55 U/ml), polymyxin B (13 μg/ml or 100 U/ml), which are used for cultivation of this cell line. The use of antibiotics in the proposed doses prevented the growth of microorganisms in cells without causing mor- phological changes or reducing proliferative capacity of BHK-21/2-17 cell line.
