According to results 8 serum samples were tested positive for the presence of antibodies against avian influenza virus subtype H5, 7 samples – for the presence of antibodies against H7, and 3 samples – for the presence of antibodies against H9. RNA was isolated in 15 samples of pathological material by PCR assay. 11 avian influenza virus isolates were obtained from and identified in embryonated chicken eggs.
