Lugovskaya 3 1 leading research worker, PhD (Veterinary Medicine), FGBI «ARRIAH», Vladimir; E-mail: kremenchugskaya@arriah.ru 2 leading veterinarian, FGBI «ARRIAH», Vladimir 3 leading research worker, PhD (Biology), FGBI «ARRIAH», Vladimir Summary Results of the OIE Regional Reference Laboratory for Foot and Mouth Disease (FGBI «ARRIAH») participation in international proficiency testings arranged by the European Community of Reference Laboratories for Foot and Mouth Disease and Swine Vesicular Disease and FAO/OIE World Reference Laboratory for Foot and Mouth Disease (Pirbright, Great Britain) are presented in the paper. Testing results of 2009–2011 have shown that methods for diagnosis foot and mouth disease and swine vesicular disease which are used in laboratories in conformity with OIE requirements are sensitive and specific and they provide high-quality diagnostic testing.
