It was shown that the period of embryo dying after infection by isolate ARV04/02rus can increase up to 8 days depending on infectious activity of material used for infection. Pathoanatomical changes in SPF chicken embryos infected with ARV04/02rus isolate are described in the paper. They are as follows: general growth retardation, hemorrhages in the occipital region of head, hyperemia of skin covers. Key words: chicken reovirus, SPF chicken embryos, allantoic cavity.
