Prikhodko Summary The sensitivity of ciliates to toxic elements and mycotoxins was studied. Results of comparative evaluation of responses of different test-organisms (Paramecium and Stylonichia) to the influence of toxicants are presented in the paper. The sensitivity of Paramecium and Stylonichia ciliates to toxic substances is approximately the same. The paper demonstrates the evaluation of feed toxicity using these test- organisms.
