Irza Summary The possibility of using tracheal organ cultures for studying mycoplasma immunobiological properties was shown. Optimal conditions for carrying out experiments were selected. The experiments aimed at the determination of a titre of mycoplasma pathogenic isolates using tracheal organ cultures and evaluation of their concentration in colony forming units demonstrated comparable results. The results of the comparative evaluation of the pathogenicity of field isolates and M. gallisepticum strain «R» for chicks by the assessment of the ciliary activity of trachea epithelium were comparable to sequencing results.
