Die Aufgabe der Hauptverwaltung besteht in der quali- ven und quantitativen Entwickelung des Fischfanges und ‘ Fischindustrie. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die N a t u r b e - n g u n g e n Russlands erleichtert. Dank der soliden Einrichtung der wichtigster Fischfan- 3-Unternehmungen u. der perfekten Umarbeitung diverser '"biindener Produkte, die bereits weltbekannt gewor* >^ie Russische Fishindustrie die Moglichkeit Produkte vor: T h e R u s s i a n f i s h i n g & f i s h t r a d e . The fisheri of the Russian Federation possessing the largest interior fishing grounds in the world & an extensive zone of sea waters abounding in fishes have a yearly average output of 1.200.000,000 kilograms of food & technical products. According to a decree issued by the Republic all fishing grounds as well as their main outfits were subject to natio­ nalization. Their managemeiit and the exploitation of the best fisheries were entrusted to the „Chief Management of fishery & State’s fish trade" (shortened into „Glavriba") established for this purpose & having administrative-industrial & scientific- technical functions. The main task of the „Glavriba" consists in the deve­ lopment, from the pint of view of quality, of thef fish-trade production of this Republic, facilitated greatly by the natural conditions of the country. If with the view of a more rational exploitation suficient capitals will be invested in the fich-trade of the R epublic its production is promising to reach 3.000.000.000 kilograms, in a period of ten years, then the export will total 500.000 000 ki­ lograms, thus increasing the wealth of the w orlds market & strengthening international relations to the benefit of all nations that will partake in this exchange of goods.
