Значение ее особенно важнО' в на­ стоящий момент, когда все усилия наши и все наше внимание }1аправляются на восстановление хозяйства. Можно говорить лишь о возможностях ее успеха. Но я считаю, что тот факт, что в весьма короткий срок нам удалось так много сделать для Нижегородс1:ой ярмарки, должен служить и залогом наших надежд на Выставку. Что касается Украины, то она, конечно, примет на Все­ российской Выставке самое широкое участие. Наше участие на Пражской Выставке, где украинский павильон был назван «эо'лотьгм гвоздем» выставки дало нам некоторый опыт. Мы сумеем использовать этот опыт и д- 1 я Всероссийской Выставки. Украинская Республика должна будет занять видное место на Выставке, так как Украина является одной из главных житниц Федерации советских республик и имеет, кроме того, у себя самую развитую 1С1ельско-хозяйстБ1енную промышленность. Как с точки зрения обще-государственной, так и местной, украин- сь'ой, мы желали бы Выставке наибольшего успеха. Ьег Nutzen und die Notwendigkeit der bevorstehenden Allrussischen landwirtschaftlichen Ausstellung ist augen- scheinlich. Sie ist eventuell im Moment von besonderer Bedeu- tung, da unser Hauptziel auf die Wiederherstellung der Land- wirtschaft gerichtet ist. Es bleibt nur iiber dei indglichen Erfolgen derselben zu sprechen. Die Resultate, die wir in so kurzer Frist beim Aufbau der Messe in Nischni erzielt, gcben unseren besten Hoffnun- gen auch fur diesen Fall, Raum. W as die Ukraine anbetrifft, so wird sie einen grossen Anteil an der Allrussischen landwirtschaftichen Ausstellung nehmen, da sie sich inehr oder weniger vorbereitet fiihlt dank der letzten Ausstellung in Prag, wo der Pavilion der Ukraine, sich den Ruf „des goldnen Nagels“ der Ausstellung, erworben hatte. Die Ukraine wird eine bedeutende Rolle spielen, weil sie den Kornspeicher der ganzen Federativen Republik ist u. eine entwickelte landwirtschaftliche Industrie besitzt. Von jedem Standpunkte aus wiinschen wir der be­ vorstehenden Ausstellung den besten Erfolg. The All-Russian Agricultural Exhibition is to take pla­ ce; its necessities and use are evident. All our efforts and atten­ tion are directed at the present moment to the economic re­ storation of the country; the greater is therefore the importance of the Exhibition. I should- speak about its possible succes only. I consider that we can fully rely on our hopes with the exemple of the Nijni-Novgorod fair before our eyes, where in such a short term so much has been attained. As regards to the Ukraine, I can say, that this country will largely participate in the All-Russian Exhibition. W e have already a certain experience in this sort of work: our pavi­ lion in the Exhibition at Praga was considered a great succes. W e hope to make good use of our experience in the case of the All-Russian Exhibition, where the Ukraine Republik must occupy a prominent place, as the main corn producer of the Fe deration of Soviet Republics possesing the most developped agricultural industry. W e wish the Exhibition all success, important from the point of view of our Ukraine Republic as well as from the point of view of the whole Federation. L ’utilit' et la necessite de TExposition agricole de toute la Russie sont evidentes. Sa signification est importante surtout au moment actuel, quand tons nos efforts et toute notre atten­ tion sont portes a la reconstruction de notre vie economique. II suffit de parler seulement de possibilites de son succes. Quant a moi, je considere que le seul fait d’avoir reussi si bien la foire de Nijny-Novgorode, doit nous servir de gage dans toutes les esperances, que nous mettons en cette Exposition. Quant a I'Oukraine il est certain qu’elle participera le plus largement possible a I’Exposition de toute la Russie. Notre participation a Texposition de Prague, oil le pavilion de TOukrame ( tait nomine ,,le clou d'or de l’exposition“, nous doime deja une c< rtaine experince. Nous saurons profiter de cette experience a ГЕхро- sition de toute la Russie. La Republique d’Oukrame devra occuper une de premieres places a I’Exposition car rOukraine est un des principaux greniers a bl6 de la Federa­ tion des Republiques Sovi6tistes et possede outre cela une industrie agricole la plus developpee. Nous souhaitons a TExposition le plus grand succ6s comme au point de vue general de TEtat, aussi bien qu’au point de vue de TOukraYne en particulier. 1 1
